The McKinley Presidential Library & Museum is a family history and science museum. The Museum includes the McKinley Gallery, the Street of Shops, the Keller Gallery, Discovery World, the Hoover-Price Planetarium, Ramsayer Research Library and their new permanent exhibit, The Stark County Story. The McKinley National Memorial, burial site of President William McKinley and his family, is also on the Museum grounds.

Cleveland History Center (of the Western Reserve Historical Society) inspires people to discover the American experience by exploring the tangible history of Northeast Ohio. Through their use of vast and varied collections in the areas of family history, community history, entrepreneurship, and technological innovation, the Cleveland History Center provides the public with a much-needed sense of place in today's mobile society, and a base for learning about invention and ingenuity that can be transferred into modern economic expansion.
Each document and artifact tells a story that personally engages individuals, young and old. These stories come alive through the exhibits at the Cleveland History Center. Among a number of rotating temporary exhibits, additional permanent exhibits include the Euclid Beach Park Grand Carousel, Bingham-Hanna Mansion, Hay-McKinney Mansion, Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum, Chisholm Halle Costume Wing, and Kidzibits Family Hands-On Gallery. The Canton Classic Car Museum was established by the late Marshall Belden, Sr in 1978. The museum currently exhibits forty-five rare and unusual classic and special interest automobiles. The Greater Cleveland Aquarium finds its home in the First Energy Powerhouse Building, known by its red brick exterior and two large impressive smokestacks. Once the main provider of the energy for trolleys in the city of Cleveland, the Powerhouse is now a National Historic landmark with 36 exhibit tanks and 10 exhibition areas including Ohio Lakes and Rivers, Exotic Freshwater, Discovery Zone, Florida Keys, Weird and Wonderful, Coastal, Tropical Reef, Shark Exhibit, and a 145-foot Sea Tube.
